Hello blog heads. Been very hard at work lately, we get so into our projects and so busy that we don't even stop to promote the work we are creating. Time to sound off about a few items of note.
Put Your Eyes On Some Fresh Work:
REPO! The Genetic Opera
I'll tell you what, you haven't seen anything like this. It's been described as "some unholy combination of Blade Runner and The Rocky Horror Picture Show" - Todd Gilchrist, IGN. Director Darren Bousman (most known for his work on the SAW films) & Terrance Zdunich (who is Graverobber in the flick, a storyboard artist and super cool guy) hooked up with us at Wiretree to build a site that could capture the vibe of the story and help promote this new film project. In a very short time frame we got a private screening, concepted the design elements, built the site, crafted banner ads and got the word out there!
PumpBox Desktop Search Application
Working with long time client Pump Audio, the music service of Getty Images, our creative and technical teams concepted, redesigned and built their flagship PumpBox desktop search application. This was a mountain of work. Congrats go out to Jeff and Alan - great job guys!
LA Film
LA Film School was honored with the Webby Awards Nomination for Best Homepage & Best School Website. Go team! That is a pretty big deal cause the Webbys are like the Grammys for us web heads.
Wiretree Featured in HOW Design Annual!
This was a big milestone for me. I've had a lot of respect for HOW Mag for many many years. This is one of the annuals I used to flip through always curious to see what kind of work was being spotlighted. Our Storyville Coffee project was published in the April issue and the whole team is listed for props. Straight up, I'm proud of this one man.
