Fantastic four part web series that reveals perspective on creativity, invention, combination and influence. It reminds me of the Picasso quote “Bad artists copy. Good artists steal.” The power portion of that quote is that great artists know they are doing it but take just the best parts and blaze forward in their own style or voice. I’ve always held the fact that I understand that it is my influences (throughout my entire life and the lives I’ve studied) that make up the formula for how I design, choose a point of reference and have the ability to act like a mirror in terms of crafting an interactive experience that tries to relay a story point or just create a vibe.
